What metadata categories can be attached to a video?
All users are allowed to upload videos and can attach the following metadata with video files -- Title, Description, Tags, Categories, Author Name, and upload date and time.

Is VIDIZMO capable of indexing and searching for videos and related video metadata?
In VIDIZMO, keywords, tags, category, and closed captions or synced PowerPoints are indexed. Upon search, the user is taken directly to the location in the video where a keyword has been used or spoken.

What are VIDIZMO's in-video search and metadata support features?
VIDIZMO supports search through metadata, Tags, Categories, and inside video search using Closed Captions. Search results can even take the user to the spoken word within a video.

Can a user add metadata manually?
Yes, the user has the ability to manually add metadata to videos as they’re uploaded or after they’re uploaded.

Yes, VIDIZMO has the ability to export assets and attendant metadata to a standards-based format. -
How does search work? Does the search function look through all metadata in the platform? Is it global or is it limited to one Portal only?
Search works on all metadata, including titles, tags, description, category, author as well as all the content that is part of published videos (in case of rich presentation, there can be closed captions, ppt, documents etc. where all such content is indexed and searchable). Search works globally to get all presentations across all Portals within an account or to perform a search within any specific Portal.

How does a viewer conduct in-video search in the platform?
VIDIZMO supports the ability for users to search inside the video so viewers can quickly jump to specific sections of the content they are more interested in. Behind the scenes, VIDIZMO automatically indexes all metadata, closed caption, faces, Keywords, Sentiments, etc. and any synchronized PowerPoint slides to make it possible.

Is it possible to jump and browse in-video based on a keyword?
Yes, content added to a rich presentation including PPT, doc., closed captions etc. as well as markers and chapters, can be searched by simply clicking and jumping to a point in a rich presentation. You can also link a closed caption to a certain point within the same video, therefore providing DVD style menus etc. VIDIZMO also offers the feature to instruct player to play video from a certain point within a video. -
Does VIDIZMO have the functionality to bulk upload data into the system?
Users can upload in bulk and apply metadata to bulk-uploaded content. Watch Folders in VIDIZMO's Desktop Application can also be used ingest and automatically upload or publish bulk content to a Portal. Using the Desktop Application, a folder is configured to be continuously monitored and any content added to it is automatically published according to the Portal's default publish settings.

Yes, this can be achieved using tags property.

Can tags be assigned to videos?
Yes, tags can be defined at the time of upload from the publisher or while editing from the Media Manager or My Media. Tags can also be defined from Tags Library so pre-existing tags are selected when publishing a video. This feature also allows central control of available tags that can be assigned to a video, therefore avoiding typos or noise words. Additionally, tags provide superior search functionality within a video.

Is VIDIZMO capable of allowing users to tag videos?
Yes, while publishing a video, user can insert single or multiple tags to hasten the search as all of the video data (title, tags, description etc.) allows for quick search of a video once it's indexed. -
Can videos have a watched/ unwatched tag in user accounts?
With some customization, VIDIZMO can show unwatched videos as unwatched, or watched videos as watched, and have this remembered across sessions and devices. -
Is VIDIZMO capable of allowing users to flag content as inappropriate?
Yes, viewers can flag any video if the flag setting has been enabled by the video contributor.

What is your process for converting and migrating an existing video library to your platform?
VIDIZMO supports the migration of existing large video libraries via automated upload and encoding process. VIDIZMO Publisher is content ingestion and conversion tool that monitors video files in pre-defined watch folders and queues videos for upload in designated portals using pre-defined settings. The encoding process kicks off as soon as the upload is completed. VIDIZMO automatically encodes each video file in multiple formats and resolutions for optimum playback on various devices.
For this process, VIDIZMO need would need access to the video library in order to review existing files along with content metadata and plan the migration process. In case a proprietary video format has been used in the existing library, VIDIZMO professional services team can evaluate and develop a custom script/plugin to extract and convert videos in standard h.264 based files in MP4 containers. This may require support from the provider or owner of a proprietary format.Once all content has been migrated VIDIZMO team shall test it to ensure the quality of data and playback on multiple devices.

Does VIDIZMO platform provides facial and/or speaker recognition?
Yes. VIDIZMO's integration with MS Azure Cognitive Services allows facial recognition of faces appearing within videos. Different sections of the video are marked based on the person speaking at various intervals to quickly jump to a particular speaker’s portion within a video by simply clicking on their face in the timeline.
