Uploading Content and Error Handling

When attempting to upload a file through the portal's user interface or via the API,  the system performs an automatic check on the file's extension against the restricted extension list.

If the file's extension is found to be in the restricted extension list, an error message will be displayed, indicating that the extension is restricted. In such cases, the user will be prompted to choose an alternative file that does not have a restricted extension.

In conclusion, configuring restricted file extensions is a powerful capability accessible to Manager+ users within the Control Panel's Security section.
